Our present HR Manager within the Stena Line Sea Organization has chosen to take up another assignment within the Stena Group. We are looking for a successor who would continue to develop our business and contribute to the achievement of the many challenging targets that have been set for Stena Line and HR.

Job Description
The HR Manager for the employees onboard our ships has an overall responsibility for all HR processes and employment law matters around Scandinavia and parts of the German and Baltic fleet. As HR Manager, you will
play an important part in the change Stena Line has started and you will be working on many different levels. You have 12 dedicated employees in HR to achieve your mission and you report directly to the Head of HR Scandinavia/Germany/ Baltic.

Who are you?
You have solid experience of having worked with most HR processes including HR in transition, several years of leadership experience within HR and been member of a management team. To enjoy the position requires that you have a keen interest in negotiating issues and working in a complex and labor-intensive business. This of course requires very good communications skills and that you are able to delegate. As a leader in Stena Line we see that you have a genuine commitment to both run and develop our business, your employees as well as yourself.

There will be a high demand on your capacity to make decisions and execute. We believe that you need to be structured and resistant to pressure. You are a safe and natural leader who builds long-term relationships and strategies as well as you feel comfortable with the pace and the variety that comes with our business.

Qualifications
Previous experience in leadership roles within HR, accustomed to dealing with different collective bargaining agreements, good communications skills and fluent in both Swedish and English. Preferably an academic education with
specialization in HR, Law or equivalent.

Other
Your base will be in Gothenburg but will require some business travel within your area of responsibility.
