HR Director - Volvo Car Body Components Olofström

We are looking for an HR Director to drive the development and implementation of effective HR strategies and processes to support the long-term achievement of the overall VCC business plan for the Plant in Olofström where you will be located. You will lead a team of highly motivated and competent Human Resource Managers (HRM). As HR Director you will also have the opportunity to be an active member of senior, skilled and experienced HR and Unit management teams. You will report directly to the Vice President Human Resources Purchasing & Manufacturing with matrix reporting relationship to the Plant Manager in Olofström.

Main responsibilities

• act as an Account Manager which means that you are accountable for all HR deliverables at the plant in Olofström
• be responsible for aligning all HR services to the business needs
• drive Business transformation with focus on HR strategic activities influencing the business agenda
• manage and lead the HR team in VCBC, to ensure that all applicable global HR processes and plans are in place and delivered upon globally
• provide overall direction and be accountable for the development and management of HR processes based on deep knowledge, project lead and process ownership
• give HR input to the business unit's functional strategies
• actively participate in the development of HR Purchasing and Manufacturing responsibilities
• inspire and communicate the connection between individual goals, company goals and how the team support the overall business performance drive performance by setting objectives and ensuring development for your team members
• drive for excellent collaboration with other colleagues and departments to ensure alignment, standardization in order to act in a lean way
• in the HR Purchasing and Manufacturing team strive to have a standardised approach to people processes as far as possible

Required qualifications

• University degree within HR or equivalent
• At least 7 years' experience within the HR field, preferably in leading positions
• Deep experience in executing global processes locally and working effectively in a global team
• Capability to develop and implement the HR strategy in connection to business context and demand by inspiring others
• comprehensive understanding in all of HR specialist areas and know how they contribute to achieving the objectives of the overall business
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
