HR Business Partner 12M FTC, Malmo, Sweden/ Baarn, Netherlands
In the role of HR Business Partner, based in the Nordics (preferably Malmö, Sweden) or the Netherlands you would be supporting our People Team in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Business Partner will support countries which include Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland & the Netherlands. The role will provide consultation on all people matters, ensuring that HR processes and procedures can deliver business strategies and growth plans.
Working as part of the HR team within the EMEA region, building capability and capacity of leaders and managers to embed good people management practices and works closely with HR colleagues in the COEs and other regions to deliver an effective and aligned People function.
Responsibilities
Providing first line HR business partnering support, addressing matters escalated by the HR Services Team. Advise managers and employees on all employee relation and other people matters.
Build the capability of line managers and leaders to effectively manage and own the employment relationship throughout the employee lifecycle, intervening as required to manage business risks.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand the people management priorities that will drive and deliver business plans and use this insight to develop effective and innovative HR solutions.
Work with Functional HR Business Partners and local managers to understand and evaluate the talent and succession needs for their area of the business and support them to provide effective talent management interventions and career coaching conversations with their teams.
Lead the business relationship with the local Works Council, fostering a culture of openness and trust.
Trusted advisor to the business on the Works Council legislation and scope.
Horizon scanning externally to identify and understand key employment legislation changes across the portfolio, supporting and delivering training to and regularly updating internal stakeholders.
Regularly reviewing, updating, and improving employee policies across the portfolio, ensuring that they are legislatively compliant, visible, and accessible to all stakeholders.
Provide advice and support to the COE's on all day-to-day matters, from Talent Acquisition to global initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrable experience of business partnering with evidence of career progression within a People function.
Experience of working in a People Team, showing knowledge of HR policies, processes across the whole employee lifecycle.
Knowledge of HR lifecycle - understands the employee lifecycle and implements the drivers within it.
Trusted advisor - builds stakeholder relationships quickly and is credibly interested in the stakeholder and their business challenges.
Commercial Awareness - ensures deliverables and decisions reflect the business needs and uses data and insight to influence business priorities and activities.
Collaboration - works to break down silos, by leveraging and sharing knowledge of other teams and functions.
Skilled influencer - actively influences and manages relationships with stakeholders to enable the successful delivery of activities and projects.
Process excellence - plans, manages, and evaluates processes to ensure workflows are effective, efficient, and agile. Makes incremental improvements to processes, controls or ways of working based on feedback and business insight.
In-depth knowledge of local employment legislation.
A demonstratable ability to prioritise multiple activities, projects and demands.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong English language skills verbal and written.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification (or equivalent).
Experience of working within a complex matrix organisation with a European reach and preferably in a technology/software company (although this not essential).
Knowledge of workforce planning, organisational development and/or organisational design tools and techniques.
