The cab is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer. It is today perceived as one of the best on the market and we intend to strengthen this position. In the area of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) we're looking for a person with technical skills to help us in the development of the HMI for our construction equipment and off-road machines. You will have a key role in developing, simulating, evaluating and recommending HMI solutions for our current and future products.You will work as a design engineer with focus on Human-Machine Interface (HMI), with areas of responsibility as follows:
• Input and output devices (switches, buttons, displays, etc.)
• HMI design, specifications, requirements and recommendations
• On-site assessment including usability studies
Responsibility:
You will have the following responsibilities:
• Together with the team create design solutions that fulfil all the demands that are specified in the development projects
• Be updated on laws and regulations concerning the operator environment
Experience:
You have at least a 4-5 years college education (bachelor or masters degree in science) with solid academic background in interaction design, HMI design and development. You have worked and familiar with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. You should also have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated working experience in the area of HMI and Human Factors.
Additional background and competence in the areas below are seen as an advantage:
• CATIA V5 or similar
• Solid Edge
• Macromedia Flash and/or Director
