Due to our continuous growth, Tata Technologies Nordics AB is now seeking a HIL Automation Engineer to bolster our team in Gothenburg.
Scope of Role:
As an HIL Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest levels of project delivery within the Embedded Solutions division in Europe. Your primary focus will be on test automation and quality assurance for key and upcoming accounts in the European region, with a specific emphasis on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL/VIL) testing. You will be responsible for analyzing Continuous Integration (CI) runs, debugging issues, supporting an interface for test automation, and overseeing the needs of both manual and automated testing. Additionally, you will be tasked with Root Cause Analysis in the rigs' environments.

As an HIL Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest levels of project delivery within the Embedded Solutions division in Europe. Your primary focus will be on test automation and quality assurance for key and upcoming accounts in the European region, with a specific emphasis on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL/VIL) testing. You will be responsible for analyzing Continuous Integration (CI) runs, debugging issues, supporting an interface for test automation, and overseeing the needs of both manual and automated testing. Additionally, you will be tasked with Root Cause Analysis in the rigs' environments.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze Continuous Integration (CI) runs and identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and accuracy of testing processes.
• Support the development of automated test scripts for the core rig, covering both HIL testing and continuous integration environments.
• Conduct manual testing to validate the accuracy and efficiency of the testing procedures.
• Design user-friendly GUIs and Power BI Dashboards to visualize testing results and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing solutions within the project development lifecycle.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in similar areas with an embedded background, along with 5 years of relevant experience in Software Development or Test Automation.
Prior experience and skills in the Automotive Embedded area with knowledge of CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet.
• Experience with Scrum and working with remote teams across the globe.
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Experience in Hardware in the loop testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
