IKEA Hotell is in the heart of IKEA, Älmhult. We have been here since 1964 and was built for IKEAs customer to stay a bit longer. Now, about 50 years later we are a business hotel with around 50 co-workers. We welcome guests from near and far. We are serving meatballs, making beds, and acts as the natural meeting place and social hub in Älmhult. Now, with greater capacity than ever we fully focus on the needs of our guests! We offer 250 hotel rooms, 5 conference rooms, large common areas, laundry rooms and gym. We are serving both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our mission is to make our guests feel at home while staying at IKEA Hotell.
In the role as a Food & Beverage Head Waiter you support the Restaurant manager by leading and coordinating the operations of the restaurant during all opening hours and during external events. You are a part of building a natural meeting place, a home away from home, for our guests both internally and externally. You ensure the team have the prerequisites and clear ways of working and routines to serve a great food experience for the guests and contribute to the overall development of our business and ways of working.
As a Head Waiter you will get administrational responsibilities for the team, scheduling and support in the ordering and inventory. Together with the Food & Beverage Manager, Head chef, Restaurant manager and your team you will also develop and secure an attractive and sustainable food offer.
The position includes working hours during daytime, evenings and every other weekend.
We are looking for 2 roles that will support our development towards the future. The employment is a full-time permanent position 40 h/w, starting in August and during the fall. We have varying working hours in the restaurant, and you will have shifts bpth daytime, evenings and weekends.
