Purpose of the Role
The newly established business line Service & Installation is ramping up for growth. Therefore, we are looking for a Head of Warehouses to lead the warehouse and logistics operations in Karlskrona, Brondby and Cologne.
As Head of Warehouses you will lead, motivate and organize a team of 14 employees over these three locations. Together with your team you will ensure that tools and materials are delivered to construction sites in time and in full as well as oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment. You will keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
Another significant part of this role is to develop and optimize the set-up, IT-processes and organization of the warehouses and implement the necessary tools and apps to increase the overall efficiency. That could be e.g. to establish systems to keep track of tools and invoice them correctly to the projects as well as decide on optimal tool allocation. Safety comes first and it would also be your responsibility to ensure work is carried out according to highest HSE standards and run projects to improve on safety.
Your Profile
You probably hold a university degree in business studies or similar and have a former experience from implementing IT-systems, leading IT-projects and working with process and system design. In addition to that you have eat least five years of working experience as well as experience in leading teams. Your personality is equally important and we assume you are a self-driven and motivated person, proactively proposing solutions and setting the agenda. To succeed in this role, you need to have a highly process orientated way of working as well as strong analytical skills.
The ability to communication and build relationship with your team as well as motivate them to work process- and team orientated will also be important.
Since the role, among other, includes the coordination of implementation of a warehouse management system it is important that you have strong IT knowledge and documented experience from SAP or other ERP system as well as a good understanding of databases.
The role requires some travel and you need to be motivated by travel across the three locations. Here your strong intercultural competence will also be essential. Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken is a requirement and if you have a brief understanding in Danish it is at your advantage.
