In the Volvo Construction Equipment Core Technology organization, we are driven by the purpose to develop world leading solutions that can be shared in an efficient way between products. The construction business is rapidly changing towards new sustainable and efficient solutions within areas such as automation, electro-mobility and connectivity. One of the overall targets for the Volvo Construction Equipment is to double the revenues from services and solutions by 2030. The Operator Systems and Connectivity (OSC) function has a major role in this technology shift by developing world class operator environment and solutions enabling this in our machine platforms.
We are now looking for a talented leader for the role Head of User Experience and Human Machine Interface (UX&HMI) to join us on this exciting journey and contribute to our important work.
What We Offer?
The UX and HMI department is responsible to deliver a complete user experience solution for all the Construction Equipment products. This will include both digital and physical aspects. It also includes HMI SW platform and common application software development so that in the end we can deliver a fully operational UX platform. We are currently in the middle of a major transition into a development environment based on Android OS. This means that you will lead a mixed team of UX specialists and software developers. The development will be driven in close cooperation with other stakeholders within Volvo organization as well as outside of it.

Knowledge and experience:
We believe you have a Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant field. You have experience and interest in the field of UX and Software development, process and methods. You have experience from leadership and good communication skills verbally and written and you are fully proficient in English.
