Network Communications Europe (NCE) is a newly established organization in Europe where new promising IoT solutions are nurtured and scaled to their fullest potential. Each business domain includes members with competence in product development, business development, sales and marketing. The team is very experienced and passionate to create new businesses for Sony. The focus on building partnerships and grow the businesses is crucial in how we scale new B2B solutions, through the Sony brand or partnerships.
About the position
As the head of Tracking Department in the NC organization you will be responsible for leading and coaching the sales and development team. Your responsibility also includes to ensure the success of your business, leading the products line to achieve targeted profit and loss goals. You will report directly to the head of NCE.
Responsibilities
You will be the one to define and drive the Business plan and you will also seek and define new business opportunities. That means that you will find, collaborate and negotiate with new business Partners globally. You will manage the resources needed to develop, launch, market and grow the new IoT solutions and you are responsible for profit and loss. You will be based on our headquarter in Lund and international travelling will be required, frequent at times.
Qualifications
You preferably have at least five years ' experience from industrial sales or the information/communication industry and a relevant education. Recognized strong leadership skills in people management is also a requirement for the position. We value your experience in leading business creation, go to market and growth. You have a proven track record of taking products from an early development stage to a profitable business. It 's meritorious if you have an international experience in partner collaboration and negotiation as well as experience from the start-up community.
Since you will communicate strategies and business plans with partners we expect you to have excellent communication skills and you need to be fluent in English. As a person you are driven, curious, business minded, open for new challenges, with a growth mindset. It is equally important that you are structured with ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment. As Head of Tracking Department you will be part of and work closely with the NCE organization, reporting to Head of NCE (Lund) Shigehiko Nishizawa
