We are looking for an experienced technology savvy leader for our newly established System Management unit!
The Software Production System (SPS) organization (former Development System & Environment, DSE) has recently restructured to optimize operations and prepare for future growth. As part of this, we have formed 5 new Product Development Groups, a System Management unit and a Product Management unit. The objective of the System Management unit is to define and decide on the architecture direction of the Software Production System. The unit is located in Kista.
You have a deep understanding of R&D and how Product Development works, and what is required to be successful. You have solid knowledge and experiences of the overall Ericsson product portfolio, in particular the Digital Services products.

What you will do
Define and decide on the architecture direction of the Software Production System.
Sets technology strategies, architecture blueprints, system baselines and design rules.
Responsible for driving the early phases such as pre-studies for new services or similar.
Secures architecture adherence via reviews and active participation in development.
Be an active member of the SPS leadership team and continuously contribute towards reaching the overall objectives of the unit.
Enable a good collaboration with SPS Product Management, SPS PDGs, SPS Operations, key partners, PDUs/users, Engineering Services, IT and other Ericsson partners.
You will bring
Deep understanding of the R&D flow including continuous design, integration, deployment and operations, as well as of Lean and Agile methodology.
Excellent people/leadership and mentoring skills in line with Ericsson core values.
A deep experience of the BDGS/Ericsson product portfolio with a solid understanding of how PDU's function and need in order to be successful.
Ability to lead organizations into new ways of working and have a track record of setting and delivering to high standards.
Sharp analytical skills with an ability to formulate and deliver on strategies.
Experiences of customer near work such as engagements, service deliveries, sales or similar.
Key qualifications
MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
10+ years' experience of leadership within R&D/system management
Deep knowledge of the BDGS/Ericsson product portfolio
Business understanding and customer insight
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, speak & write English fluently.
