This digitalization implies a big potential for increased productivity, agility and improvements in work environments. To strengthen our market position in the area of digital machining, Sandvik Coromant is building a Digital Machining team to create attractive digital solutions that improves our customers pre-, in- and post-machining operations. Now, we are looking for someone with the experience and motivation to successfully take lead in building this team and who wants to exert strong influence on the future of the organization. The location for this position is preferably within Sweden.
Key performance areas
As Head of Sandvik Coromant Digital Machining, you are a carrier of a new culture and the leader with the mandate to create something new and different in one of the worlds leading manufacturing companies. You develop the future business within the area of Digital Machining and have the overall responsibility for driving the activities across Sandvik Coromant. You are also the bridge between todays way of doing business and the new business model for the digital arena.
You take lead in setting the strategic direction for Sandvik Coromant to further develop in the area of Digital Machining through organic growth of capabilities and you capture the opportunities of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). You ensure the development and commitment of the team, develop relationships and bring in companies and people from the outside, and by challenging the way we have done things in the past, you bring this area into a modern environment and lead the way forward.
You report directly to the President of Sandvik Coromant.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree and proven experience from working in the digital field, who has extensive understanding of the manufacturing industry environment and also have strong commercial experience and have managed large organizational change, including a business shift into the digital market. You have solid experience and a proven track record of building successful business within Digital Machining and understand how we may use new and fast moving technology to our benefit. As we act on the global stage, your communication skills in English must be exceptional, both verbally and in writing.
