Work Description

As a manager, you will have the responsibility to lead your team, execute and deliver the commercial strategy and sales volumes together with the Latin American Business Units. Manage and coach a skilled group of professional Area Managers and Business Support Managers based in Latin America.

You will set, drive and follow up business targets including strategic alignment, volume growth, profitability and sales readiness milestones together with the markets.

Based on the aligned Common Commercial Strategies, you will have the overall responsibility for the Strategic Alignment process and roll-out, which will define the short/medium-term focused activities to be executed together with all our Business Units and Independent Distributors.

With this, you have the responsibility for reaching the sales volume targets, revenues and overall profitability, as well as for the Volume Planning process, a fundamental analytical activity that will consolidate global market demands and provide adequate input for Scania's Production & Logistics activities.

Together with your team, you will work closely together with the Product Segments - to cater for our long-term growth with profitability, by steering the activities to enter new segments, new customers, industries and applications. Keep close follow-up with your team on the main KPIs related to the order-to-delivery flow, including order intake, stock level and deliveries, and drive actions in case of deviations.



Your profile

We think you are an inspiring and experienced leader and team player with a strong drive to deliver in our business and lead the team to keep increasing sales in Latin America. You will lead a team of experienced and talented colleagues based in Latin America (Area Managers and Business Support Managers).

You are open and curious to actively learn and act as a team player with other managers within the Sales management team and with the other stakeholders within the People Transport Team and others. You are result-driven and continuously wish to push others do to so.

We expect you to have a commercial drive and business orientation background and experience from working with several markets globally. Having commercial experience working at the business units, negotiating with customers and understanding their needs is highly meriting.

Knowledge of international trade and tax rules, as a significant part of the business is related to export products, is important.

You are communicative and familiar with actively communication with various stakeholders, including external, as your role includes working with partners like bodybuilders. Strong leadership potential, drive, goal orientation and joy in continuously delivering results are keywords about you! Other attributes we appreciate are; the ability to listen actively and communicate openly, building relations and motivating others.

You have a university degree in business, economics, engineering or similar and language fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese is mandatory for this position.
