What part you will play?
The Head of Risk & Internal Control supports Sweden CEO and CFO in their responsibility to implement and maintain an efficient and effective Internal Control system. In this position you will have full responsibility for proper functioning of the internal control processes in line with established Siemen's standards and methodologies. You will work closely with Entity & Division Management, Central Function Management, Process Owners, Control Requirement Contacts and externally with e.g., external auditors.
In addition, you are expected to collaborate proactively within the Nordic and Western/Europe/Africa (WEA) Risk & Internal Control communities which exist to foster good practice initiatives and information sharing on risk and internal control topics. The Head of Risk & Internal Control reports directly to the Country CFO and functionally to the Nordic RIC Officer.
The person we are looking for is open for change and willing to challenge the status quo, takes initiative and ownership, speaks up when needed, cooperates across borders and is a role model for integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly Risk- and Internal Control Meetings, quarterly internal certification for internal controls over financial reporting and the Annual in Control Certification.
• Local point of contact for all Siemens AB stakeholders on Risk and Internal Control issues.
• Coordinate local circular enactment process.
• Identify and train Control Requirement Contacts.
• Identify and train independent assessors, provide guidance / support to assessors and review the quality of selected assessments.
• Provide guidance / support to help document deficiencies, verify the quality of deficiency documentation and appropriate prioritization.
• Coordinate all Internal Control related topics from internal and external audits.
• Help to identify remediation activities and propose remediation actions, produce regular progress reports and monitors status of remediation activity, discuss results with CFO.
• Local authorization guidelines.
Who are we looking for?

Your independent way of working and distinctive analytical mindset combined with decision-making ability and assertiveness enables you to convince various stakeholders up to management of your ideas and to implement future-proof solutions.
• University degree (Public Accountant / Business Administration / related careers).
• Previous experience at international company focusing on Finance, Accounting & Controlling.
• Leadership: Drive change and continuous improvement, strong communicator, good organization skills.
• Languages: English, Swedish and/or Norwegian (fluent, written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
