Group Function M&A and New Geographical Markets (Group M&A) is part of Vattenfalls Staff Function Strategy & Environment. Group M&A is responsible for all business and processes relating to acquisitions, divestments, swaps and mergers of companies and businesses, including joint ventures.
We are now looking for a manager for the position Head of M&A Stockholm. Including ongoing recruitments the department consists of five employees that will report directly to the Head of M&A Stockholm. The Head of M&A Stockholm reports to Head of Group M&A and New Geographical Markets.
Job description
Lead the daily work within M&A Stockholm
Plan and organize the work assigned by the Head of Group M&A and New Geographical Markets
Staff assignments/projects
Follow up progress in projects/coach team members
Quality assure deliverables
Ensure proper working environment
Lead M&A projects and/or participate in steering groups for M&A projects
Budget and cost follow up departmental and project costs
Qualifications
Master of Economics or Master of Engineering with good study results
Several years of experience from M&A/business development/investment analysis/valuation
Minimum two years of experience as a project leader or as a manager
Fluency in spoken/written English
Preferred Qualifications
Several years of experience from the energy & utilities sector
Fluency in spoken/written Swedish and/or other Nordic language
Management experience
Location
The position is located at Vattenfalls head office in central Stockholm, but there will be some travel within Northern Europe.
