In November 2021 our Group CFO launched a new revitalized strategy for Finance. Key elements in our
strategy are to accelerate digitalization within Finance as well as establish more Centers of Expertise (CoE) in the finance organisation of Volvo Group. We are now seeking the person leading a new function called Group Finance Digital CoE for Business Support and Analytics.

Group Reporting Tax & Control (GRTC) is the part of Group Finance with responsibility for Accounting, Financial reporting, Tax and Controlling as well as strategic projects and IT in the Finance area. Group Finance Digital CoE will report to the Group Finance Business Office, who is responsible for coordinating and driving key group initiatives within finance. We are now looking for a Head of Group Finance Digital CoE for Business Support and Analytics. The position is based at Volvo Group HQ in Göteborg
Head of Group Finance Digital CoE for Business Support & Analytics
As Head of Group Finance Digital CoE for Business Support and Analytics, you will be responsible for establishing the CoE, establish and drive the Volvo Group knowledge sharing network within BI and analytics in the finance community. As leader of the team and the related external partnerships you are increasing the awareness and interest in modern solutions by developing successful use cases. One of your missions will be to establish and lead a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Data Scientists and BI Tools and visualization experts.
It will be also be your responsibility to:
Own and monitor the CoE strategy, i.e. the CoE roadmap and initiatives
Own and secure the definition and execution of CoE governance (decision-making and prioritization)
Structure, manage and motivate the CoE team and manage talent strategy and performance
Represent the CoE organization within the finance community in the Volvo Group
Who are you?
You have an academic degree in Business or Finance and you are trained in agile project methodology. This combined with several years of data and analytics experience including a senior management and leadership experience within BI and analytics.
Over the years, you have demonstrated successful experience in digital projects and the related change management. You are familiar with data analytics applications, implementation projects and leading a staff function
To be successful in this position we believe you have a strong drive for results and an agility in navigating through a global matrixed organization. You are a self-motivated and inspiring leader. You have strong communication skills and the ability to lead by influencing others in both the written and spoken English language.
