Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Head of Global Field Service Operations to join our team!
Are you interested to define and develop the Field Services business and delivery strategy for Managed Services contracts? Do you want to support and drive the Market Areas to ensure effective implementation of the global standard operating model for Field services?
In Network Managed Services we are leading network operations and field services for the future of networks. Through our entire business we handle networks that cover over 1 billion subscriptions, over 1 million nodes and with 95% SLA fulfillment.
Field Service Operations (FSO) runs in 78 countries with over 10 000 employees globally. FSO is the process group that defines the execution of on-site activities related to corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance. We cover also Occupational Health and Safety aspects as well as how to transform our processes to reduce our environmental impact. Our mission is to enable our Field teams to deliver at the best cost and with the best quality for our customers and use AI/ML to predict faults even before happening by providing the right field resource with the right information at the right time.
The Head of Global FSO reports to Head of Managed Services Networks and will be working closely with the leadership team of Managed Services
You will
Define and develop the FSO's business & delivery strategy
Define and ensure efficient implementation in the MA domain of the New Field Services Operation Model, financial and operational, as part of Ericsson Operation Engine
Define and drive development of Global Tools, Automation and Analytics framework
Interaction and co-operation with internal and external stakeholders
Benchmarking, identification, definition and dissemination of best suited frameworks, models, processes, tools and standards
Ensure accurate working methodology, Best Practices and Continuous improvements in Ways of Working for efficiency improvements and betterment in deliveries of our services
Define Occupational Health and Safety framework for high-risk activities to enable Ericsson vision of 0 Fatalities and 0 Lost work days
Support, develop and improve the Fleet strategy to meet Ericsson's sustainability vision and targets
Building a successful team culture through proactive demeanor, collaboration focus, strong performance ethics, high integrity and high energy
Crafting shared vision and common goals in line with Ericsson strategies, focus areas and priorities


To be successful in this role you preferably have
University degree preferably in Engineering. Additional MBA qualification will be desirable
Excellent understanding of Telecom/ICT industry
10+ years of customer facing experience in operations and project delivery
Experience of full P&L responsibility
Demonstrated capability in engaging and building trust with C-level executives
Solid industry knowledge and extensive experience to translate value propositions into market needs and to secure winning propositions
Consistent track record in leading high energy, customer-centric and performance-driven teams across various units
Organisational change experience across strategy, structure, process, people and governance
Strong on executive team leadership, able to lead large/matrix organization and encouraging a culture of continuous learning
experience in multi-cultural, multi-geographical roles
Proficient in English
