Unit Overview

The vision of newly created Business Digital Services is to digitalize service providers through Cloud and Automation. BDGS is addressing a large, healthy, growing, and fragmented market, and is a targeted growth area for Ericsson. BDGS is organized in six solution areas combining products and services: 1) OSS, 2) BSS, 3) Packet Core, 4) Communication Services, 5) Cloud and Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVi), and, 6) Consulting and Application Development Management (ADM) (services only).

The Business Control Units' responsibility is to pro-actively support the BA Leadership Team & organization to reach both short term and long term financial targets with the objective of creating value for Ericsson. The Unit is also responsible to support CFO in safeguarding legal & regulatory compliance and being the guardians of shareholder value. In order to do so, the unit must secure internal financial performance-measurements are correct, complete and objective, so that the right conclusions can be drawn and appropriate actions taken. This includes supporting BA with the following:

Financial Performance in the BA (P&L, BS and Cash Flow in hard currency)
Proactive financial risk identification and mitigation
Financial and other Governance in the BA; target breakdowns
Realistic forecasts regarding sales, cost, margins, cash and capital
Trusted advisor within BA Leadership Team, proactively balancing all aspects of the Strategy with a financial perspective
Medium and long term profitability through participation in developing and implementing overall business plans. This includes cost and capital efficiency plans. This includes cost competitiveness.

Job Summary

This position will report to the Head of Business Control, within BA Digital Services and will be a member of the Business Control Leadership Team.

This position will work very closely with the Head of BA Business Control, to monitor, analyze, forecast, govern and influence financial performance within the BA, in a consistent, and transparent way. In addition, this position will support various initiatives and activities, and may directly interface various members of BA & GFFI LT.

The Manager of Financial Analysis is a leader of the financial analysts supporting the various units within Digital Services, including BA FA Lead, BA Cost FA, BA Reporting FA, Solution Area FA, Service Delivery FA, and Sales FA. The manager is expected to coach and advise the financial analysts within the following areas of responsibility, with an end to end focus to secure optimum financial performance for the BA:

Secure business performance in period end closing
Drive short-medium term financial planning (ie: forecast process)
Drive adherence to financial governance framework
Innovate and drive reporting and analytics solutions
Provide actionable advice using insights from analysis
Influence performance improvement from business analysis
Financial performance management from a contract and deal perspective

The Manager of Financial Analysis will also personally work very closely with BA Unit BC Manager, BA BC office; and Performance, Transformation & Security Office to 1) secure financial performance, 2) drive & monitor profit improvement initiatives, 3) drive long term balance sheet ambition, and to 4) drive forward looking scenario modeling and analysis

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years' experience from similar position within Ericsson or similar position at an external company.
Proven management background with experience of a driving role in a leadership team. At least 5 years of senior management experience.
Culturally sensitive and with a strong ability to lead across many countries on a virtual basis and drive influence in a matrix organization
Demonstrated team player, flexible and open to change, able to manage complexity and ambiguity

Position is located in Kista, Sweden, unless otherwise communicated.
Fluent in English, both written & verbal
