What you will be a part of
Group ICT within Saab is responsible for providing IS/IT for Saab's global operations and is a part of Group Functions. Services within IS/IT are for example solutions within technology, applications, development, administration, management and support. As our business is a fundamental part of Saab's global ability, we work in close cooperation with Saab's different units across the World.
Group ICT is currently facing an exciting state of development towards more global services, and the function is operating several projects with high influence on Saab's operative and financial performance. To ensure that ICT meets the high expectaions regarding these projects we now seek to enhance our finance team with a driven and professional head of finance.
Your role
As head of finance within ICT you will be given the opportunity to play an important role in the organisational and operational development of the function. Together with your experienced team you will monitor and control all financial aspects of the financial performance of group ICT. The team also has an overall responsibility to monitor and control the achievement of selected key financial targets within Saab IT. You will be an appreciated member of the ICT management team and report to the CIO with a dotted line to the Group CFO.
Specific tasks within the team include, but are not limited to:
Initiate actions to improve financial performance in order to close gap to reach targets.
Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting, preparing budgets, financial reports and audit functions.
Supervise investment and customer proposals.
Financial strategy, planning and forecasts.
Controlling of The ICT programme-office.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a person with strong analytical, operational and communication skills combined with a clear focus on people. We believe that you have a proven track record of from similar positions and feel confident working in a global context. Through your working experience and personal characteristics you have developed a clear leadership and style of communication.
To be successful in this position it is important to be business driven, independent and to have an analytic and pedagogical ability to understand and explain economic causation. We are looking for a driven leader with a commercial mindset who thrives in a high pace and quickly changing environement. As a person you are communicative and enjoys coaching and developing team members and colleagues. You work in a systematic manner and towards the set targets, and your ability to change when needed is high.
