The Opportunity
Join us as Head of Scania Experience Enablement, contributing significantly to Scania's purpose. In this key role, you will lead our channel experts, enabling the development of efficient, on-brand Scania events and exhibitions globally. Collaborate closely with markets and regions to create scalable and modular solutions tailored to market needs, enhancing productivity, and ensuring effective local event experiences. Develop and coordinate exhibition units, conceptualize guidelines, and create modular toolboxes supporting our global colleagues in executing local events and exhibitions.

Role Overview
We seek a natural leader for the role of Head of Scania Experience Enablement. Your responsibility is to guide the team to understand, suggest, develop, and enable within the event experience area. The team ensures deliveries align with Scania's communication strategy and plan. Together with the team, set the direction for transformation, establishing the role as trusted experts in the experience field, acting as advisors for the Scania organization for all types of event and exhibition experiences. Set strategy and roadmap for the development of events, exhibitions, visits, and our showroom arenas. Challenge traditional approaches, connecting chosen experience formats closely to target groups, messaging, and desired effects.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of 4-6 employees.
Set the experience strategy and concept for events and exhibitions globally.
Develop efficient concepts and way of working for supporting to enable on-brand Scania events and exhibitions globally and support local business units with event experience modules, guidelines and knowledge.
Define content and exhibition units to plan and execute centrally owned events, exhibitions and showrooms in close cross-functional collaboration within the Communications department.
Create road map and implement development of showroom facilities together with the colleagues operating our showrooms and visits operations and guided tours, as well as for Scania's dedicated visit areas.
Monitor and evaluate trends and new technologies within the event experience area.
Assign external suppliers when required.
Understand assignors' needs, providing necessary support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams balancing central and local needs.
Have budget responsibility for Scania's centrally organized exhibitions, showroom development and enablement related activities.
Contribute actively to the development of the Event Experience department and Scania's communication strategy.

Your Profile

Has a proven track record in successful team management and driving change.
Communicates clearly and responsively to employees, customers, and business needs, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements
Academic degree in marketing, communication, or equivalent.
Leadership experience, such as project lead, in working with events and exhibitions, preferably 7+ years.
5+ years of experience in handling event or exhibition agencies and external suppliers.
Proven management experience with the ability to set a new strategic direction for the team, preferably 3+ years.
Experience in the B2B event and exhibition industry, preferably in a local Scania Business Unit or similar local market organization.
Project management work experience with well-developed systematic planning skills is an advantage.
Proficient in English
