We make sure our users understand their finances and have the right tools to make the best decisions for their businesses. With an international and fast-growing team composed of 80+ employees in Gothenburg and Stockholm, we are now looking to hire a Head of Design to lead our design team.
At Bokio you will work closely with world-class designers, developers, serial entrepreneurs and business strategists with the courage to create new disruptive products that will impact the everyday life of our users. Your role as a Head of Design at Bokio plays an important part in how we build the final solution, shaping the design direction of our products and ensuring a seamless user experience.
What you will do at Bokio
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities as Head of Design will be:
Lead a team of talented designers, collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring innovative ideas to life.
Create an environment in which people thrive.
Grow and develop individuals through 1:1s, development talks and feedback loops.
Constantly optimize your teams for impact, adaptability and speed of learning.
Lead and refine the user experience and visual design of our product.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to deliver exceptional design solutions.
Ensure a consistent and cohesive visual identity across all products and platforms.
Who you are
Proven experience as a design leader, managing and mentoring design teams.
You have a genuine passion for developing and growing people and teams.
You enjoy mentoring and coaching designers, both junior and seasoned ones.
You are a great communicator and comfortable with spoken and written English.
You have a growth mindset and are constantly looking for ways to improve and learn, both as a professional and as an individual.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
