In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Lead a team responsible for building models / calculators needed to manage Operation and Credit Risk when lending to mass-market customers.
• Build models and calculators needed to create customer risk profiles. The profiles will track household structure, disposable income, likelihood to default, exposure and collateral.
• Create technical requirements to implement enabling technologies needed by the Decision Science team and progress plans through relevant Swedbank forums. Where appropriate, create compelling business cases for investment.
• Build framework to monitor model performance and secure quarterly reports on model performance are reviewed by a Technical forum, relevant actions taken and completion of tasks followed up
• Ensure that the right team structure and people capabilities are in place to deliver consistently high-quality output. Provide development opportunities to team members and act on recruitment as appropriate. Drive an ongoing evolution in the analytical techniques used by the team.
• Invest significant time in people. Ensure that members of the Decision Science team have clear objectives, that their stress levels are under control; they regularly receive performance feedback; that they have access to appropriate development opportunities and are supported in making progress toward their career goals.
• Act as a leader in the wider organisation. Set an example in living the Swedbank values. Promote a positive, supportive culture. Always act within the parameters of governance requirements, including ensuring that documentation is kept updated and communicated through the organisation as needed.
• Keep updated regarding market developments related to Decision Science, including changes to laws/regulations/standards; availability of analytical tools; and market developments in best practices.
