Connectivity and digitalisation are disruptive technologies that changes old traditional industries and enables growth and development of new business models. Scania Connected Services and Solutions (KS) aim is to develop, implement and sell services and packaged solutions as well as to leverage the benefits of connectivity within all parts of Scania.
KSS, Strategy and Business Development, within Connected Services and Solutions department is responsible for strategy, long term product planning and service concept development regarding connectivity. Another responsibility is the Scania service roadmap and the governance model for service development.
The group, KSSC, develops new service business concepts based on connectivity as a technology combined with a deep knowledge of our customers and the transport industry. Building on existing Scania strengths and by combining business understanding, agile IT development and modularised applications we create new service concepts that helps our customers' and the transport buyers' profitability and sustainability.
Your duties
You will be leading a team of concept development managers. Your responsibility will be to lead the concept development team in:
• Exploring new service business concepts from the Scania service roadmap
• Prioritisation between different business opportunities and development needs
• Lead the development of the decided solution/functionality through a continuous dialogue with agile developers and assignors.
You will work closely with the development support and development teams, and be a part of Strategy and Business Development management team.
Your profile
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of connectivity and the transport industry. You need to be well-organised and analytical, enjoy working in a team environment as well as being able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment. You easily understand business requirements and are able to translate them into service concepts with viable business models.
You as a person are a team player who works well independently, responsive and humble, with an ability to drive technological developments based on business needs. You have good communication skills, easily relate to other people and can represent your organisation in the external context.
You have a relevant academic education in engineering and/or business administration. You can express yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
