Stena Line's People and Communications team is a big part of this journey, working on a number of exciting projects. We are now looking for someone to take the lead over our Communications team and set the way to success!

What will you do?
As Head of Communications you will be responsible over a team of three working in the Communications team. It is your mission to define the framework and platform for external and internal communications, core messages and to create a yearly strategic plan for communication activities. By an active leadership you will create an understanding of and engagement in Stena Line's strategic direction to enable all employees to contribute to the business and build pride internally. It is your responsibility to work with internal stakeholders to protect, safeguard and strengthen the corporate Stena Line brand externally. In this role you will actively collaborate with HR in communicating the company culture, value and brand pillars to the business, ensuring one message is delivered across all regions. You should be a competent and proactive resource for the Company to reach our business strategy, which is the core in everything you do.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Define and develop our communication platform in line with Stena Line's brand guidelines and business strategy
• Plan, coordinate and drive communication activities across the company to support business objectives
• Develop common themes for communication, e.g., Ferry over Flights, Sustainability, Reliability; Ferry is Fun, Care, and Quality
• Keep up to date and in contact with the regions and functions to secure business need
• Develop a communication concept and strategy for selling Stena Line as an employer of choice in close collaboration with HR
• Develop communication concepts and templates
• Plan and coordinate communication efforts to ensure consistency and impact both in terms of what and how throughout the company

Who are you?
We are looking for a strong and vibrant communications guru with an un-deniable passion for people and digital solutions. At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. You have to be prepared to work in a very public facing company that get a lot of media attention, dealing with multiple channels of media. It is your mission to create, implement and safeguard a common language when it comes to external and internal communications. A broad knowledge in communication as well as previous leadership experience is key, and you have to prepared for 24/7 action. If you are an energetic person, that can both operate as well as strategize this is the gig for you!

To succeed in this role you need to be fluent in English and have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office.
