What we offer

As Head of Communications, Consumer Enterprise & Digital Department (CED), you will be responsible for producing compelling internal and external communication explaining how we are re-defining the automotive industry's approach to customer experience through digitalisation. You should be a competent and creative strategic communicator, familiar with operating across the full range of communications channels, including internal, digital and news.

The jobholder will be part of our network of professional communicators embedded within our business functions, but part of our Corporate Communications team. You will report to both the Head of Internal Communications and the SVP Group IT & Chief Digital Officer (CDO). The position is primarily focused on internal communications, but will also embrace external communication.



What you'll be doing

As Head of Communication you will develop and deliver communications strategies, working closely with CED colleagues and other embedded communicators, as well as central Corporate Communication teams (Internal Communications, Content, Press and Digital).

You will identify and pitch strong stories from within CED, which exemplify our innovation, customer focus, corporate values and culture.

You will also support and advise CED senior management on all communications matters, including the SVP Group IT & Chief Digital Officer (CDO).

Finally, you will prepare and support the CDO for internal and external communications opportunities, as well as manage his social media accounts.



You and your skills

You have experience working on strategic communications in a corporate environment, with a strong technology focus - ideally within software development.

You have experience across a broad range of communication channels, including internal, digital and press, as well as a deep knowledge of change management and experience of utilising communications to activate and inspire teams. You have experience of regularly interacting with and advising, C-suite level management.

You can demonstrate a proven track-record of delivering communications strategies that have had a measurable impact, and an ability to turn complex information into clear messaging and engaging content.

Experience of working for a global multinational company is a bonus. Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential,

For this position, you should possess excellent networking skills and be a natural collaborator, with the ability to work effectively across functional and geographical boundaries - as well as the confidence to engage with senior management.

You are a passionate and enthusiastic communicator, with strong personal drive and an acute understanding as to how communication can drive improved business performance.

It is important that you have strong strategic awareness and a holistic mind-set, with the ability to seize tactical opportunities. You should be adept at managing competing priorities, changing deadlines and delivering tasks independently. You are a resilient self-starter who is at ease operating in an international environment.
