E.ON is looking for Head of Commodity Operations

Our department Portfolio Services is looking for a new manager for our Commodity Operations team. Main role of the team is to ensure our physical and financial trading operations run smoothly to add value to our customers. Portfolio Services is EON Nordic's wholesale energy trading, optimization and portfolio management team. This is a unit with a clear ambition to excel in what we do. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our business and EON's future.
This includes tasks such as:
Lead a team of experienced analysts
Trade validation, Confirmation and settlement of physical and financial products incl. payment
Business reporting
Be Portfolio Services interface to support functions (Risk, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Legal)
Continuous process development and automation
Develop your team and strive toward excellence
Be part of the Portfolio Services management team
The role is located in Malmoe.
In order to be successful in the role as a Head of Commodity we expect you to have a financial or Technical University degree. You have professional experience from the area, during which you have developed a good understanding of commodity markets in general. You are an experienced leader with solid change management skills combined with an agile mindset and you are used to work cross-functionally and hands-on.
Further it's important that you have:
extensive experience in back office processes in the energy or financial derivatives trading sector
good knowledge of standard trade agreements (ISDA, EFET) and their implications on the trade lifecycle
It 's commendable if you have:
experience from robotics and other similar tools
knowledge about financial regulations
knowledge about accounting for financial derivatives
As a person you are self-reflective, result oriented and change driven. You are passionate about developing your team and you always place the customer first. You are a good communicator and very business oriented, also being trustworthy and forward looking, you are a role model to the wider team. You are passionate about automation, processes improvement and business development.
As personal qualifications we want you to have a creative mind and an ability to get things efficiently organized combined with analytical skills. You are also open and communicative with a great ability to cooperate within a group.
