hela Sverige As manager for the Broadband and IoT unit you will be overall responsible for the evolution of the technical areas covered by RA MBB, Capacity and IoT. You will ensure that requirements in the area are competitive, satisfy our customer's needs as agreed with the Product Line Heads, at the same time as the Ericsson RAN SW product in the area is evolving in accordance with the needs of sustained technology leadership.
To achieve this, you are responsible to monitor the technology trends as well as business and competitor intelligence, to proactively ensure the product evolves in accordance with market needs and Ericsson's strategy.
You will be budget owner towards the product development units for the RA in your area of responsibility, ensuring timely deliveries of the required functionality, which includes the driving of R&D development in DU Networks. You will negotiate the required budget to fulfil the unit's goals with the Product Lines.
As Line Manager of the unit your responsibilities will include:
• RA MBB, Capacity and IoT
• Functional area strategy definition
• Architecture evolution of the functional area
• Internal development plan for the area of responsibility
• Technology plan for the areas of responsibility
• Proactive engagement with key customers, regional sales force and supporting functions to ensure sales of developed features
• Ensure value argumentation and sales material for developed features and products.
• Requirements setting and support to the development unit throughout the development process.
• BI and CI of the functional area
• Qualification and prototype activities for products in scope
You will lead a team of highly experienced individuals in a complex and dynamic environment.
As Line Manager in PA Network Systems we expect you to have:
• Several years of experience as a leader
• Documented relevant ICT industry experience
• Experience from working in product management
• Experience from working in or towards our regional sales organization
• Excellent knowledge of our RAN products
• Experience from business planning
• Experience from Research & Development
• Capability to translate our products into values for our customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience from interacting with customers and industry analysts
• Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to coach and build high performing teams
• A university degree in engineering and/or business studies
This position is located in Stockholm, Sweden, and you will report to the Head of Product Area Network Systems and be a member of the leadership team.
