In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Lead the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) 1st Line Risk & Intelligence team
• Day to Day responsible for 1st Line Risk & Intelligence matters within the scope of the AFC Mandate
• Work in an environment covering a broad set of risk topics in a wide range of disciplines including anti-money laundering, sanctions, fraud, security, and cyber security
• Support the AFC organization in its mission to detect and prevent financial crime.
Be responsible for:
• facilitating risk mitigation activities based on internal/external events;
• performing strategic financial crime analysis on portfolio level or identified segment risk; and
• enhanced first line cooperation with relevant authorities.
• Work closely with AFC Financial Crime Risk Strategy Management Team and all other teams within Risk & Regulatory Management
• Work closely with all AFC units, business areas and Group Risk and Group Compliance (second line of defense) to find effective and efficient solutions
• Foster a sound Risk Culture and ensure a continuous improvement of the risk and compliance maturity within AFC
What is needed in this role:
• Previous experience from strategic financial crime analysis and risk management, minimum 5 years
• Previous experience in Banking / Financial Services, minimum 5 years
• Previous experience from relevant financial crime authorities (e.g. FIU, FSA, etc.) is meriting
• Previous experience from working abroad is meriting
• Experience from leading work to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency is meriting
• Experience working with risk and intelligence matters in a Financial Crime functional setting
• Motivation to develop the risk & intelligence function to be a powerful tool for our unit and limit unintentional or undue risk taking
• Strong team perspective and co-operation minded
• Acting and working in accordance with our values; open, simple and caring
• Ability to present complex matters in a simple and understandable way, both orally and in writing
• Proactive and helpful attitude, high integrity and a professional approach
• University degree (minimum bachelor's degree, Masters is meriting)
• Good English skills, both spoken and written
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
