Forum Syd is now looking for a Head of Advocacy and Profile
Background
Forum Syd will implement a new organisation in order to increase effectiveness and coherence in our development cooperation, reinforce member value and strengthening the link between our development cooperation work and external communication. The Head of Advocacy and Profile will play a key role in this work.
The Head of Advocacy and Profile will be the owner of the global processes within the area of advocacy and profile. S/he will lead a global team of communication officers and policy advisers. The Head of Advocacy and Profile will have direct staff responsibility for the team members working at Head Office.

Qualifications required
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent qualifications obtained in another way
• Broad competence within the communication area and/or within the field of advocacy
• Management experience
• Experience of working with social media in a strategic and integrated way
• Experience of results based communication
• Stylistic ability
• Ability to clarify Forum Syd's value to others
• Very good ability to express oneself orally and in writing in Swedish and English

This position is a full time (100 %) permanent position starting 1st January 2017. This position is located at Forum Syd's head office in Stockholm, Sweden. Duty travels are part of the position.
