Our main focus is the technology development in the area of in-vehicle electrical and electronic hardware systems, nonetheless our engineers work together with colleagues from a wide range of multidisciplinary engineering sciences.
Job Summary
The overall mission is to develop technologies for in-vehicle electrical and electronics hardware systems. It includes development of concepts, evaluation of technologies, and design of in-vehicle electrical and electronic systems and architectures, with focus on the hardware parts of these.
Key responsibilities include surveiling trends in the area of electrical and electronics hardware not only restricted to automotive but even in a wider scope (electronics as enabling technology) as well as identifying opportunities of implementation of new technologies that have potential of customer benefit (or for the company, e.g. cost reduction). Driving research and innovation in this area, with the long-term goal of increasing the competitiveness of our products, is also essential part of the job; that means that you will be key player when maturing new technologies and securing a smooth handover of these to product development.

Required Qualifications
We believe that the right person has great opportunities to grow in this job. Therefore we expect that you are open-minded and have positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing conditions. You also have the ability to take own initiatives and drive them forward as well as create new solutions and concepts with a focus on customer needs. Insight or experience from the automotive industry is considered as an asset. You have right knowledge of hardware systems, both electrical and electronics, with ability to further develop yourself. Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar.
