Hardware Product Designer
Gothenburg
If you are a hardware designer with experience of the entire product design cycle, all the way from requirements, design to industrialization and also like working closely with customers - you are the one we are looking for!
To be successful we believe that you are self-motivated, structured and take responsibility for customer deliveries. You are comfortable in taking the lead, have a great passion for technology and take initiative to solve problems.
In this role you will work directly with our customers, leading the development of their next generation wireless products using our technology. This means designing and integrating our radio modules in their products, both new and existing designs. You are responsible for both the implementation - such as layout, schematic and verification, as well as the time plan and communication towards the customer. This gives you great freedom in how you plan and execute your own work.
You would be part of our Engineering Partner team at LumenRadio that is focused at facilitating engineering services for our existing and new customers. The goal is to help our customers decrease time to market for their IoT products using our technology. By joining Engineering Partner at LumenRadio, you have close collaboration with other colleagues, such as software developers, and other hardware designers.

Hardware design - schematics, layout and verification
Industrialization - design for production, component choices, EMS interface etc.
Leading the development from requirements gathering to verified product
Break down high level abstract product requirements into work packages and time plans
Communication with customers
Project management
Qualifications
Minimum BSc in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years working experience within hardware design
Experience of the entire hardware design cycle from requirements to production, including layout, schematic and verification
Good business understanding and ability to prioritize between tasks based on overall objectives
Experience in leading hardware design projects
Experience of working closely with customers on technical projects with successful deliveries
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English, both oral and written, preferably Swedish as well
Big bonus
Designed RF solutions, antenna matching etc.
Software development skills
