hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been commission to find a Hardware & Software Manager to Above Agency. They are currently growing their Hardware & Software team in Stockholm and are looking for a rockstar to lead the team into magic!

About the position
As Hardware & Software Manager, you are responsible for growing and managing the team, as well as to make sure that the team delivers, both when it comes to our company vision and strategy as well as projects. Since you are driven by technology, you are comfortable in explaining technical solutions and trade-offs as well as white-boarding system architectures to clients. You understand the organizational aspects of how a team operates and thrives, as well as the processes involved in developing products. Organizing work and maintaining a high quality is second nature to you!
Your team helps to bring smart and beautiful experiences to clients, experiences that push the boundaries of what new and existing technologies can do. Interwoven in cross-functional projects with designers and other developers, the team designs and develops outstanding hardware- and software solution.
You will also work closely with our directors on sales, resource planning and budget. This ranges from initial sales meetings with potential clients and handling customer relationships during execution, to the final kick-ass delivery of a project to an absolutely stoked client. You thrive in a dynamic organisation where two days are not alike and new challenges are coming in every day.
About you
In order to make a good fit for this role we see that you have several years of professional experience from Software Development or Electronics. Preferably, you have a hybrid profile and experience from initial prototyping all the way to mass production. To thrive in this position you also have architecture-level understanding of both physical and digital products. You have at least a Bachelor degree in related field and are motivated by leading teams. You have an eye for recognizing sales opportunities and are not afraid to act on them in order to achieve goals. As a person you are passionated about what you do and you share the management philosophy of Above, where coaching leadership is key. You are a natural leader with a creative mindset and great communication skills, and you are fluent in English.
