hela Sverige As Leading Design Checker you will have an important role in our team and Business unit Powertrain Engineering, but also within Volvo Group. You will be part of developing PDM/PLM roadmap and take product documentation into our future to meet Volvo Group vision. We are in in constant learning and improvement and we strive towards and appreciate continuous chance in our ways of working.
Together with the Design Engineers in a Cross-Functional Team You contribute to meet all Volvo's requirements for Technical Documentation in Early and Late Stages of Projects.
You will continuously educate in and inform about new standards and instruction affecting the design work.
The work will include co-operation with Volvo Corporate Standard Department and Volvo suppliers. The main task for a Design checker is to make sure the quality of technical documentation. Design checker is the leader and coach to secure engineers competence to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

Requirements:
• Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from Product Development
• Knowledge of Pro/E & PDMLink is a merit
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance
• English proficiency
