In this position you will be the owner of the technical documentation process and corresponding tools and you will lead a virtual team of technical writers located around the Systemair world and work with developing and implementing our information strategy and securing process adherence. We are working with partners to secure high flexibility and access to best practices in the area.
Systemair internally you would cooperate across countries and disciplines with main stakeholders of the technical documentation.
Background
Systemair is in the middle of a journey to implement and manage a harmonized production process for technical manuals. Quality guidelines and strategies are decided and implemented in major production sites by Anna who now has taken on new challenges within the company and the person we are looking for to continue the successful implementation project and continue to drive improved customer orientation, quality, efficiency and digitalization.
About the job
The job includes strategic planning, preparing a yearly budget, driving the agreed activities, follow-up adherence to process and agreed ways of working and continuous improvement of process, managing the licenses, cooperation with our partner, support the deliveries form our 30+ producing companies. This position reports to the Group Technical Director.
In this position, you will:
• Define and run the area as a one year project - each fiscal year
• Be responsible for the technical documentation processes and tools including training.
• Build and maintain a network to support the initiatives
• Support and govern implementation of the process & tools in Systemair manufacturing companies
• Clarify overall requirements
• Lead improvement projects
• Team leader for our technical writers
• Manage cooperation with service providers
• Support relevant functions/departments and participate in common development projects
• Manage and continue to develop the license-setup for low-cost and high efficiency
• Support recruitment of technical writers in the various factories.
• Setup the budget and invoices for the area
• Run improvement projects in other areas for Group technical - as applicable.
• Travel internationally a 3-4 times per year.
We are looking for someone with the following profile:
• Experience from project management or equivalent is desired
• Ability to see opportunities with process automation and general digitalization
• A sense of structure and order
• Experience from managing a budget, forecast
• Experience from working in an international environment
• Fluent in English, writing and speaking
• Swedish speaking or willingness to learn Swedish
• A fast learner who is driven and self-motivated
• A built-in sense of structure and order
• Experience from working with technical writing, XML tools, content management is a merit as well as experience from HVAC business
Start date as soon as possible.
The location is Sweden, preferably Systemair HQ, Industrivägen 3, Skinnskatteberg, or as another possibility, location in Norrköping or Stockholm can be discussed. It is possible to work partly remotely.
