The Exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) department is part of Powertrain Engineering Sweden and responsible for providing solutions to reduce various emissions from the engine and secure compliance with stringent regulations all over the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation. Together we have all the competences needed to design and validate the full system, including hardware and software design. We work close together with our global colleagues in France, Brazil and US as well as international suppliers.
At Powertrain Engineering we are actively working to establish teams that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality, etc. We find that well balanced working groups increases group dynamics, creativity and new approaches to solutions.
We are now looking for two leaders to become group managers for two excellent teams!
Group manager EATS System design & simulation
The team is responsible for leading the overall system design and consists of global system engineers, technical leaders and simulation engineers. Together with your team you lead both global system initiatives as well as the local project deliveries. The simulation engineers in the team support with simulation studies throughout the product life cycle from early advanced development to quality improvement for our customers.
You likely have leadership experience, either from the area of project management or have already tried your wings as a manager. You are genuinely curious in the people around you and their needs. You are good at communication and collaboration in an international environment.
Group manager EATS Control
The team is globally responsible for the software design of control algorithms to minimize emissions and keep the system performance. The control strategies are implemented in software using model-based development tools. The team is split in several agile teams and priorities are reviewed every tenth week together with the other EATS control teams around the world. The software product owners responsible for the prioritization of global EATS software development are in this team and an important task is to coach and support them in the prioritization. You will also be part of the global software process team, making sure that the software is developed in a structured and quality assured way.
You likely have your background in embedded software design, simulation, calibration or similar. You are curious in leadership and have practiced it through either formal or informal leadership challenges. You are good at coaching others and have a genuine interest in the people around you. Collaboration is in your DNA.
