Testing Technology is one of the groups within Complete Vehicle Laboratory that manages and develops testing equipment for all complete vehicle tests.

Testing Technology supports a variety of feature and performance tests for teams all over the Volvo Group, like Trucks, Buses, Construction Equipment and Penta covering existing technologies and innovative technology areas with equipment and technical support. We are a key member of the verification and validation team in all business areas and no tests can be run without our involvement.

Position description
In this position, as a Group Manager you be responsible to,
* Lead and develop a team of highly skilled measurement engineers and be a part of the Complete Vehicle Laboratory management team
* Create and execute the measurement technology strategy for all Complete Vehicle tests globally.
* Manage an annual budget of around 30 MSEK in Operational Expenses and 20 MSEK in Capital Expenses.
* Lead a global network group of all testing technology managers within Complete Vehicle globally.
* Interface with the project office to ensure all test requests are planned and all necessary equipment is available on time.
* Manage stakeholders within Group Trucks, Buses, Construction Equipment, Penta to ensure that all data collection needs are captured and delivered.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
Fluent in English spoken and written.
Experience in testing and or product development within Volvo.
