We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.
As Manager for EPS SW Framework and Quality, you will be managing fully agile teams that is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions for Continuous Integration and Configuration Management, facilitating a complete chain from a software change to a working car component.
You will also lead and support the Software Quality Assurance team for the electric propulsion nodes.
Your focus will be to inspire all team members to evolve and achieve their professional goals as well as building high functioning and good-spirited team.
What you'll do
You will drive competence development to assure the right competence in line with long term technical strategies. You will be responsible for my employees work environment and for all HR employee related processes including salary setting, appraisals and goal setting. Preparing and driving long term technical strategies and setting objectives accordingly in close collaboration with the POs. You will recruit highly skilled individuals in line with identified capability and competence needs. Work closely with related Scrum Masters and Product Owners to understand the teams' situations and needs. Stay updated and drive continuous improvements related to your responsibilities such as tools, IT, flow and ways of working. You will also be responsible for guiding and coaching in agile development.
You and your skills
We expect you to bring knowledge in agile methodologies and in SW engineering. You have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or several years of relevant experience. You need to have experience with Python, Jenkins, Git, Subversion and MATLAB. Having experience in ECU Build systems, CI chain and HIL environments is needed to be successful in this role. You will bring a minimum of 5 years' experience of development work in the automotive industry, knowledge of VCC development process in general and the electrical development process. Knowledge of testing, electrical architecture & High Voltage Systems is key in this role. We also require you to be fluent both written and spoken in English. You must be a great communicator and excellent corporation skills with the ability to energize employees and the ability to make things happen.
