Who we are!
At Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) our Vehicle Software Factory are focusing on making sure complete software and electronics are delivered towards agreed milestones with expected functional content and with the right maturity. In order to make this happen, as a Group Manager for Product Metrics you will play a vital role in the improvement of product development and product quality with the help of data. Within your role you will be working closely to our skilled engineers to improve both our products and work methods every day.
As part of the Vehicle Software Factory our team Product lead & Release management plan, drive and align deliveries from development teams across Vehicle Technology to secure that new functionality is delivered in time. Our team is dedicated to delivering value to our end customers with every product update.
Electrification and CO2 challenges are keeping us busy, just like the need for improved effectiveness and efficiency in our software release flow. As part of GTTs Vehicle Software Factory, we are working globally with all sites and with our colleagues in the other engineering departments. Our team is located in two sites: Bangalore and Gothenburg, where we proudly take ownership of our Product Lead and Release management responsibilities. We will continue to grow in capacity and responsibility in the coming years!

You will be a vital part of our Vehicle Software Factory, working closely to our skilled engineers to improve both our products and work methods every day.
What you will do!
At (GTT) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
In this role you will be group manager for a team of highly skilled team of an expanding team that was formed a few months ago of 5 direct reports of product DevOps - metrics and visualization engineers. The team is also expanding in Bangalore where our local manager will host the engineers. With your team, you will have full responsibility to drive the product metrics to support the development teams within and outside the Vehicle Software Factory and Vehicle Technology. You will take full Global Ownership in this role!
You will be part of the Product Lead & Release management team where you report to undersigned, Lars Ekström, Global Technology Manager. We need you to play an active role in developing our Global Technology Area and shape our common vision of Product Lead & Release management and you will play a vital part in our management team to reach our overall goals.

We are looking for someone with the following knowledge and experience:
• You are a servant leader and product owner that understand and prioritize in the endless backlog and get the most out of the team.
• To reach the goals you have a good business understanding and knowhow in stakeholder management.
• You have a proven experience within the area of product metrics.
• You are experienced in agile ways of working.
• You have managerial experience from line, project, or agile management.
• You are holding a University degree in software engineering or similar.
