We are now looking for a Group Leader - Connectivity Functional SW Development
Description
The Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information organization, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the NEVS Technical Development Organization.
You will lead a team of development engineers working primarily with other design engineers (both internal and external) and collaborates internally with software development engineers and other technical experts. You will be in charge of the team responsible to reach the required maturity level of the functional software developed in-house and by our selected suppliers. The functional software that is targeted within this team is the customer facing software and HMI (Human Machine Interface) within the vehicle, and customer facing vehicle applications via the users phone/handset.
The team will use agile software development methods like xBTM and deploy SBTM (Session Based Test Management) and TBTM (Thread Based Test Management) in their daily work.
Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the Manager of Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information.
The role as Group Leader- Connectivity Functional SW Development involves to:
- Lead, coordinate and inspire the Connectivity Functional SW Development team in their daily work
- Responsible for the long term plans for your employees, and team
- Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of functional software development
- Provide a safe and structured environment for the team. Communicate company/project level updates and changes
- Responsible for resource planning and prioritization, developing strategies to ramp up or down based on resource requirements in projects
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience of leading a team and reaching defined goals
- Experience in software development / test methodology, like xBTM
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to plan and prioritize
