We are seeking to fill the position of a Group Financial Controller, with experience from Group Consolidation and Reporting, reporting to the Manager of Group Accounting. The primary mission for the Group Accounting department is the production of complete and correct operational and legal financial statements to internal and external stakeholders. Financial statements are published externally every quarter and at year-end the complete annual report. The department works in close collaboration with Group Management, Business Areas, Divisions and operational staff all around the world.
As Group Financial Controller, you are one of the key players in the Group Consolidation process; and will together with the rest of the team, be responsible to secure high quality and efficiency in the reporting and consolidation. Atlas Copco work with job rotation of accounting and reporting processes, which will give you the opportunity to learn and develop in all aspects of the group reporting process and quality assurance of the financial statements of the Group. You will also be expected to contribute and engage in ad hoc projects. One of the larger projects in 2017 / 2018 will be to carve out the Mining and Civil Engineering part into a new group and list it on the Nasdaq OMX. Atlas Copco 's head office is situated in Sickla, Stockholm.

Job description:

• Participate in the Group's monthly closings
• Secure high quality in reporting and consolidation within deadlines
• Participate in the Group's interim and annual report preparation
• Together with the rest of the team drive continuous improvement of routines, systems and processes within the financial reporting of the Group
• Participate in various projects in the Group requiring Financial Control and Accounting input

Experience requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Finance or Business Administration and some years of practical experience from consolidation from an international company or audit experience from one of the Big 4. Your knowledge of IFRS is high and you have an ambition to develop within group accounting. Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, and you should have a good knowledge in IT-systems and Excel.
