The role:
The TA Group Director will lead, manage and deploy a group of medical and scientific staff within a TA, optimizing individual and team performance and being responsible for some aspects of section finances.
The TA Group Director is therefore responsible for the recruitment, retention, development, people management and deployment of their section resources to deliver the agreed TA & CDLT objectives, supporting global teamwork and driving productivity gains for competitive advantage. The TA Group Director will do this through the provision of hands on management and strategic leadership to their section of the TA aligned organization. In order not to lose touch with the projects the TA Group Director may do some direct project work (up to 25%), however this must be a clear second priority. Project work can range from Study/Brand Physician, key strategic non-drug projects, acting MSD etc. .....
