As the Group Category Manager, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities, while providing guidance and support to local companies across the Group. You will acquire and manage supplier relationships and ensure performance on the strategic targets for the category and report to the Head of Corporate Sourcing.
You will have an important role guiding the Group in the necessary actions to take with regards to exchanging ideas, knowledge, and best practices across the function. You will lead a broad palette of initiatives aligned with our group strategy including, but not limited to cost savings, sustainability, process improvements and more.
Your profile
• A university degree, preferably within Business and/or Engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in strategic sourcing, with relevant work experience within plastics, such as foam converting, foam molding, thermoforming, injection, or extrusion.
• Experience in category management as well as project-based sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• International experience is a strong plus.
• A good command of English, both written and verbal.
