With 400 people and 9 offices across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, we are in a strong growth phase in the Nordic region. As a part of strengthening our Group Business Control function we are looking for a new Group Business Controller to join our team in Varberg, which also accommodates the Nordic Group Financial Control and approximately 140 coworkers focusing on Nordic IT, as well as invoicing and debt collection solutions.
The Role
As our new Group Business Controller you will be a key member of the Nordic Group Finance community, and an important bridge when providing guidance on how we can become more successful and move towards our strategic goals. You will be working as a consultant on an interim assignment during 4-6 months.
You will be responsible for providing insightful and actionable commercial analysis to senior management as well as initiating and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The role offers a variety of interesting challenges with strong focus on professional compilation and presentation of financial analysis and business risk to decision makers. The role reports to the Director Group Business Control.
Main tasks
Effectively interpret, compile, illustrate and communicate "the story" behind complex financial analysis Facilitate the Nordic region decision making by providing pricing and margin analysis and give recommendations with the clear objective to optimize profitability and minimize risk Preparation and evaluation of new business cases highlighting risks and opportunities Develop, drive and support the client acquisition and renewal process in the Nordic region
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for a person with a Master's degree in economics, finance, industrial engineering or similar, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in management consulting or business controlling.
We believe that you are customer-oriented with a passion for change and winning new business. You have excellent interpersonal communications skills, and a demonstrated ability to work across functions and interact with all levels of the organization if required. Of course, you are a self-starter with advanced analytical skills and you possess the ability to organize data in a way that adds value.
Consequently, you are proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel, with excellent verbal and written skills. English is our corporate language.
