We are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant Controller for our global Finance team. This position is located at Elekta's head office in central Stockholm, Sweden and will report to the Head of Group Accounting also located in Stockholm.

Group Accounting forms part of the Group Finance department and consists of a team of four (2 Group Accounting Specialist, 1 Group Accounting Manager, 1 Head of Group Accounting) that work closely together. The team is responsible for group consolidation, accounting and reporting policies and procedures as well as preparation of interim and annual reports for the Elekta Group.
What you'll do at Elekta
As a member of the Group Accounting team, you will work with the consolidation on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and support Elekta Business Services (our shared service center) and our reporting entities when it comes to accounting, reporting and systems related matters. You will also work with projects related to accounting and reporting including the preparation of our interim and annual reports. The role include supporting the administration of our Group reporting system AARO and the integration to our ERP system (M3). As Elekta as a whole focus a lot on process excellence and continuous improvements you will also work with development of our reporting routines and improvements of our monthly closing process.
What we are looking for
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have at least 3 years of work experience within accounting/financial reporting and/or big 4 audit firm and have a university degree in business administration, preferably with a major in accounting.
We believe you have prior knowledge of IFRS and experience from reporting and consolidation in a larger company. Excellent knowledge in English is a pre-requisite for the position as our official Group language is English and international contacts occurs on a daily basis. Experience of AARO reporting and consolidation system is an advantage.
