As Graphical Design Specialist you will be responsible for the implementation of graphic design changes on all printed materials, in cooperation with the Innovation teams in Global Hygiene Category and/or Business Units Europe. This includes consumer packs, transport boxes and printed product materials, for Personal Care articles produced in Europe. The packaging design is essential in the communication with the consumers and therefore critical for the business success.
We offer you the chance to become a part of the Baby team. Our role is to manage and optimize assortments for brands like Libero according to business requirements within Business Unit. We implement the design changes that has been developed by Innovation teams or Business Unit. Libero is the market leader of baby diapers in Nordic and present in several other European markets. The baby business is characterized by high speed and frequent design changes coming from launch projects or promotion activities.
The position is placed in Gothenburg within the baby EPM team
Main Tasks
Participate and contribute in design development (from brief to final master design) by providing technical expertise on how to meet design expectations in print
Responsible for design implementation on all printed materials by adapting master design for the entire assortment (artwork per article) aligned with relevant markets, repro houses and suppliers
Responsible for approving artwork according to master design and regulatory demands (Medical device, Cosmetics Regulations, Nordic Eco Label etc.)
Manage the artwork implementation by own work but also pushing internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for print quality of all printed materials and secure cost-efficient artwork production
Responsible for budget and follow-up of graphic design related costs
Key Competencies
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
University degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
Strong communication skills
Project management skills
Time management - Uses time efficiently and can cope with change and high speed
Ability to work in international networks
Knowledge in printability (flexo and offset) and print outcome
Ideally experience in print design/artwork for packaging
Relevant software knowledge (e.g. Adobe, SAP).
Willingness to travel
Ability to build strong relationships with all key groups; EPM, Innovation Teams, Local Markets, Sourcing and external suppliers
High Business interest and result oriented
