Our programme
The Arriva Graduate Programme is our 18-month scheme for attracting and developing talented young people.
During the programme, you will be doing placements in different business areas. It is possible that one of these placements is an international one, to one of the 14 European countries that Arriva operates in. You will attend a set of graduate events and training modules where you gain knowledge about Arriva's operations, strategy and business model and where you will meet Arriva's senior managers and Graduates from other countries. Apart from your main assignments, you will be working on an international project together with other Arriva Graduates. You will be carefully supported by your mentor and will become part of an international Graduate network.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a Graduate to join our Train division team. The Train division comprises areas like Maintenance, Workshop and Development and Sustainability.
As we want to give you a broad understanding of our business, during the programme you will be doing a set of placements. The type of projects, tasks and responsibilities that you will take on during the programme are in the range of building models of development for the maintenance and supplier costs for the purchasing department, Production planning, Vehicle optimization and Maintenance optimization and planning. After successfully completing the Graduate Programme, you may expect a job that fits your background and capabilities.
To apply, you will need to meet the following requirements:
• You have successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in the area of Industrial Economics or Mechanical Engineering.
• You are encouraged to work in a multi-cultural environment
• You possess leadership potential and/or substantial technical knowledge
• You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English and Swedish
• You are an early adopter and (nationally/internationally) mobile
• You have a high-performance and achievement orientation
• Your are interested in innovation
• You are able to think creatively and outside the box
