As a QA in our Electronic Trading team you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks, ranging from monitoring, Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs, regression testing, to design, develop and execute automation test cases using python. You will also maintain the test servers with help from IT department.
You will work closely to our development teams, which are developing market server components and our Internal Market solution. You will participate in their planning meetings, Scrum meetings as well as release planning. The Internal Market solution provides exchange trading as well as market making functionalities of financial instruments and derivatives in all asset classes. Testing procedures consist of series of different types of testing, to assure that our customers can continuously and in parallel calculate and send prices for thousands of instruments to multiple market places. Since QA is performed on different levels, different testing frameworks are used in different QA phases. Such frameworks are typically written in C++, Python as well as in our internally developed Arena Data Flow Language.
We will offer you a variety of challenges, where understanding customer requirements and solving problems is a key part, in combination with creating advanced technical solutions. You will be part of a team with skilled and motivated developers that take full responsibility for its solution which includes both working on continuous improvements as well as innovations. By working closely together with the Product Owner in your SCRUM team you will get a deep understanding of market needs.
We expect you to have the following knowledge:
• B Sc. / M Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering and Management or similar degree.
• An interest in financial markets.
• A great interest in developing sustainable solutions with focus on quality and performance.
• Good skills in English
