Today GM Powertrain Sweden has around 600 employees situated at two sites: controls-, engine development and engine production in Södertälje and integration, controls- and transmissions development, engine development and exhaust aftertreatment in Trollhättan.
Development and Test Engineer (ref nr 294/1683)
Duties:
As a development and test engineer you will be working with several fields within the test discipline. The role includes defining methods, planning, performing manual tests and automation. Test automation consists of both software development and maintenance of the test environment and may also include modeling and simulation. The team is also responsible for supporting and troubleshooting both during development and vehicle assembly.
You will be a part of an international team with many contacts in Europe and US, where you will be working in close corporation with several departments within product engineering.
Background:
You have a M.Sc. in Engineering, Electrical/Automotive or university degree in engineering, with an interest for Controls Systems and engine development. Previous experience with test systems or simulations, built-in real time systems, CAN communication, test automation or software development is a merit.
You have good knowledge in English, both written and verbal, and find it easy to cooperate with GM colleagues in Europe and US.
