Essity Global Hygiene Category Professional Hygiene is currently searching for a Global Technical Innovation Manager to the Innovation Team Hand wiping systems - rolled products. The Global Hygiene Category leads Essity's hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovations.
The Global Technical Innovation Manager will develop & deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience. The role will work in a marketing/ technical partnership to take prioritized concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch.
In this role you will contribute to the overall innovation strategy, with focus on Hand wiping Systems and rolled products, in the technical area for the leading global brand Tork. You will work in partnership with the Innovation Team and will report to the Global Brand Director Hand wiping and Toilet Paper Systems. This position will be located in Gothenburg.

Contribute to and implement development of assortment vision, ambition and innovation strategy for Hand wiping systems, with focus on the technical area
Help identify opportunities, gaps and competition that enable to fuel the innovation pipeline and build the brand in accordance to our brand pyramid and brand architecture
Partner with Brand Innovation Team, Insights, R&D, Technology, Packaging, Manufacturing/Supply Chain and Lead Markets to secure strong innovation plan
Lead or co-lead projects through the funnel stages in partnership with Brand Innovation team member
Assess technical feasibility of the project, own the requirement specification and agree mandatory parameters for the article
Secure alignment with R&D, Technology and Manufacturing/Suppliers
Work closely with the commercial teams in lead markets to prepare for successful launch
Main Tasks
Create, amend and delete Master Data
Develop and perform master data trainings for business counterparts to ensure appropriate involvement and understanding of Master Data processes
Review and respond to enquiries related to Master Data, taking a decision or escalating issues, concerns or risks as appropriate
Perform regular data reviews, identify issues or improvement areas related to data handling, perform root cause analysis and recommend improvement activities to safeguard data quality
Calculate and follow-up on KPI's, and perform ad hoc reporting and data analysis
Support and co-operate with Business Data Users and other stakeholders on request
Report system incidents and drive system improvements with IT; represent business in system change activities including taking the lead in system testing and business verification
Contribute to projects and initiatives related to relevant master data
Key Competencies
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in technical product development in a multinational environment
Ideally experience in the Hand wiping category, with knowledge of European and North American market as priority for our business
Experienced in fiber, paper and product development
Ability to bridge and balance technology criteria with commercial/business requirements
Project management and networking skills
Proven ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams
Strong English speaking and writing skills
Strong communication and presentation skills on all levels
Self-motivated doer with passion
Ability to travel
