We are looking for a Global Technical Innovation Manager for our Global Brand Feminine Care. The position is within our Global Brand Innovation and Sustainability organization (GBIS) and placed in our Gothenburg office.
The purpose of the role is to develop & deliver innovative technical solutions to meet the target audience needs. In partnership with Brand Innovation Managers and in cooperation with R&D, Product Development, Lab, Research, Packaging and Lead Markets the role is responsible to lead prioritized concepts and solutions through all stages of the innovation funnel - from concept till launch.
What will you do
In this role you will manage brand innovation projects for our brand Feminine Care on a global scope and secure the technical readiness of the projects. You will also partner with peers in Innovation Team and Insight Managers, to deliver superior solutions that meet consumer needs.
You will have to steer and navigate in a matric organization and cross functionally with many different functions (R&D, Product Development, Technology, Packaging, Supply Chain).
Furthermore, you will help identify opportunities and gaps that enable to fuel the innovation pipeline and build the brand in accordance to our brand pyramid, consumer segmentation, and brand architecture.
Your responsibilities will also consist of assessing technical feasibility and execution of the project where you will own the product specification, agree on mandatory parameters and deliver consistent quality assurance through the supply chain.
Who You Are
University Degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
Strong project management (proven successes in the past) and networking skills
Experience in R&D/Product Development environment
Commercial awareness and mindset to meet business requirements
Ability to bridge and balance technology criteria with business needs
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in collaborative international environment
Leadership capabilities:
Holistic thinking
Excellent communication skills with
ability to facilitate complex discussions with conflicting interests
providing clear guidance in project team what needs to eb delivered by when
Delivers with speed and quality in a complex matrix organization
Knows how to navigate through a complex matrix with multiple stakeholders
Is able to delegate responsibility within project team
Holds people accountable for delivering
Controls progress of her/his projects, to secure delivery on time
Managing ambiguity in a matrix organization
Strong influencing skills without line management responsibility
Values (cultural diversity), ideally proven via previous experiences
Able to drive change and engage team members behind a vision
Universtity degree (technical or in science / business)
Fluent in English, Spanish an advantage
Ability to travel under normal circumstances
