hela Sverige In MRS Supply Chain we are now looking for a Global Supply Chain Developer for a 12 month temporary assignment. In this role you will be assigned a region to work with supply chain development projects together with our Customer Centers. Your objective will be to develop, implement and secure an efficient supply chain in your assigned area of responsibility to reach high parts availability for our end customers to the right total supply chain cost.To continuously develop the MRS Supply chain to be a state of art global logistics provider, managing and developing a high performing, qualitative and cost efficient supply chain for our customers. We will be leading in providing expert knowledge within the supply chain area. Together we will secure an efficient and reliable spare parts distribution that delivers the right availability to our customers with optimized inventory efficiency.
• Lead the supply chain development in your region working with Customer Center Logistics, Sales and Service organization to improve our performance by developing and maintaining standard ways of working with our tools & our policies, concepts and routines
• Lead and participate in supply chain development projects both on regional and global level
• Optimize inventory management between parts availability and cost of carrying inventory by setting stock holding policies for Distribution Centers and Customer Centers
• Participate in phase-in and phase-out activities for inventory management in the region
• Continuously analyze and act proactively on excess and slow-moving inventory in the supply chain
• Support the region and contribute to the system development as Global Super User in the inventory and parts planning tool, GIM (Global Inventory Management)
• Chair the Logistics Review Meetings with your region to follow up ongoing activities and performance
• Ensure that we have the right KPIs in place to monitor our supply chain performance
• Drive the supply chain competence development by mapping competence level and promote competence development activities and networking (Distribution Centers, Customer Centers)
• Cross functional interaction within the division to secure we work together to improve our service
• Share knowledge and ideas across divisions and business areas
• Strong presence and interaction within the whole supply chain (Suppliers, Distribution Centers, Customer Centers, Customers)
Experience from supply chain, purchasing and/or production logistics.
• Good knowledge of inventory management.
• Good knowledge of transportation management and international logistics
• Understanding of financial performance and its relation to supply chain KPIs
• Customer Center experience is advantageous.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• It is a requirement that you are fluent in English.
• University degree in Economics/Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

It has distribution centers in China, Sweden and the United States, and is based in Sweden.
